
Jennifer was always hoping to be a multitasking star. While she was a kid, Jennifer enjoyed many musical styles, mostly Afro-Caribbean music like merengue, salsa and the bachata. Also, she was a fan of mainstream music , like hip-hop , and R&B. She was an avid fan of film and music. West Side Story, a musical written by Rita Moreno (1961), was the most influential film for her. At 5, Jennifer began taking singing and dancing lessons. Jennifer was more than just an entertainer. She also spent 8 years at a Catholic elementary school named Holy Family. Jennifer then completed her four-year degree at Preston High School. While at school, Jennifer was an amazing athlete and was a participant in track and field and tennis. It was the Castle Hill neighbourhood was her house for most of her life. Jennifer moved out of the home of her parents at 18 to move out. Lopez was a lawyer during that time. She also attended dance classes at night.
